Description
It’s not too early to start thinking about buying Christmas gifts... Free shipping! Hockey cards are meant to be picked up and looked at! For sale is a rare Complete Full Set of 1978-1979 Topps NHL Hockey cards displayed in a vintage Topps Sports Card Locker case. The cards are already organized by team! The cards are non-graded and in very good condition. The locker is used and in good condition. Did you ever wonder why full sets of sports cards come in those cold boring cardboard boxes? To make things worse they’re organized by number. Who wants that?... This complete 1978-79 Topps Hockey card set comes with the Topps sports card locker case (in great shape) from the mid-70’s. The set is already organized by team which makes it much easier, and more fun, to browse. The work is already done for you here! All that you need to do is put them on display and enjoy! If you notice, the order that the teams are listed in is the 1977-78 final standings... Since the Cleveland Barons didn’t return for the 78-79 season Topps didn’t include them in this set. That is why the Adam’s Division only has three teams. This isn’t a set of cards that you buy just to have them sit on a shelf . These cards will be shipped to you ready for display, and they are meant to be displayed! Check out the team labels! When you open up the locker you’ll feel like you traveled back in time to 1978. When you open the locker you’ll feel like you’re sitting in the Philadelphia Spectrum hoping to see a bench clearing brawl. When you look through these cards you’ll ask yourself, “How did they ever play without helmets?” And you’ll remember how much fun it is to say names like Guy Lafleur and Jacques Lemaire. Considering its age the locker is great shape. The corners are frayed a bit, and the plastic inside shows some ware, but otherwise it’s fine. Please take a good look at all the photos of the case before you decide to buy... With some TLC there is no reason why the case can’t last another 45...
