I'm moving out of state on October 1st, so these items must go! The drop leaf table has been in my family for generations. I purchased the chairs from Target in 2017. Without the drop leaf attachments, the table measures 34" deep x 23.5" wide x 30" tall. Each drop leaf adds an additional 10.25" width, so the table is 44" wide when fully extended. The chairs measure 20" deep x 17.5" wide x 35.5" tall. The chair seat height is about 17.875" off the ground. My ex-boyfriend sanded the table down and refinished it in 2017, but I have often thought it would be fun to paint it bright colors, or sand it down and refinish it again, myself. With the current finish, you can still see - very faintly - the original paint in a few areas. It's also lovely as is. I will sell the table and chairs separately, but I think they look great together. I like mixing and matching different furniture styles and periods. Please give this kitchen set a good home! My mom tells me the table belonged to her great aunt Betty, a tough farmer in Independence, Wisconsin. The table has made the journey with me from Wisconsin to New York City to Los Angeles, and I've used it for everything from homework to dining to breakup conversations, so I'd love to see it enjoyed by someone who appreciates its character. The chairs have only ever lived in Whittier and Glendale, so they're not as well traveled, but I've found them very comfortable. Thank you for taking the time to check out my listing!
