French Louis XV Inlay Burlwood Parquetry Office Desk - 19th Century

A fine mid 19th century Rococo Bombe executive deak with quality padouk, tulipwood, laburnum, and Kingwood parquetry with exceptional original inlay and artisan handmade bronze figures and accents in the manner of Matthijs Horrix. Its cabriole legs are decorated with bronze figural ormulu mounts at the shoulders that end with sabots over the feet. This Desk has been meticulously preserved. I understand that this desk is NOT for everybody. But for that person out there who is deeply moved by the ownership of fine high art, especially if it is also a part of a functional space, this heirloom treasure is one that that would be proudly displayed.
