Description
2 gallon established freshwater self- sustaining ecosystem perfect for workstation desk. This mini ecosystem has 5- 6 jungle Val, Golf ball size Subwassertang, & Guppy grass. These hard-to-find plants can be easily propagated into other tanks. You can also buy red cherry shrimp from me that I will personally accumulate to this ecosystem before you pick up. OR, To save the worry of transporting this tank, I also offer delivery for additional fee. Now here’s a little backstory on this tank. I started this tank 2 years ago for cherry shrimp and baby guppy fry. It was stationed on my dining table under my aqua garden plant lights. In addition. It was maintained by keeping it airtight. Also, Every weeks or so, I would only top it off with a 1/2 cup of tap water treated with Seachem Prime. Seachem Prime is the complete and concentrated conditioner for both fresh and saltwater aquariums. Jungle Val is a fantastic aquarium plant that can add a whole new element to your tank. It’s beneficial to the water, low-maintenance, and pretty! Provide high lighting with specialized plant bulbs or bright LEDs. The plant should have light exposure for eight to ten hours every day. Make sure that the crown is above the substrate. The crown is the base of the plant. If buried beneath the substrate, the plant will shed its leaves and eventually die out. For deepest roots, plant in 3-4inches of substrate. Live plants release oxygen into the water during the photosynthesis process. It creates a more oxygen-rich environment for your fish. Guppy grass introduces oxygen to your tank like any plant, so it helps maintain a healthy environment for all of your aquatic pets. Your herbivorous and omnivorous fish will also eat Guppy grass. Fish also produce carbon dioxide and ammonia, which these fast-growing low-maintenance plants (and other plants) can absorb. Golf ball size Subwassertang Is an exceptional low light aquarium plant that is prominent in shrimp tanks. This attractive plant is known by the common names Süsswassertang, Loma fern, Round Pellia, and False Round Pellia. There are also many reports that Subwassertang does not like high light in the tanks, it can melt away. Live plants release oxygen into the water during the photosynthesis process. It creates a more oxygen-rich environment for your fish.
