The DI Art Orphanage offers today a- Large cove wood framed original acrylic ? painting on board by Thomas A. Danials. I believe Mr. Danials may have been a commercial artist hired by Eastern Airlines to do this one off painting which may have been used to make lots of lithographs displayed around the country to advertise the Whisper Jets , in this case the Cargo series campaign ? In any case, I rehabbed this art a little by taking it all apart , cleaning the glass, removing the old cardboard backing replacing it with acid free foam board, re-papering the back, replacing the old hanging wire with new and shining up the frame a little with scratch cover. It would take a bit of research to pin down what years this would apply to, but a safe guess might be 1980-90’s , if anyone out there could help me out with info that would be great. Kind of hard to put a price on this original art- not a print- looked at it closely with a loupe. I would think any current or former commercial pilot or airline employee would love to have this, I’m finding it hard to let go of it, but you can’t keep every cool thing.Oh, the image measures 19 1/2” x 29” frame 24x 33. 1/4”.
