Description

1967 Shasta 1500 It is just under 15' long from the tongue to the rear bumper, 78" wide, & 94" tall. 1620 lbs. with gear. It has a table on the front that drops down into a bed. A couch/gaucho bed in the rear and a fold-down bunk bed above that. No bathroom. I purchased it a few years ago and have been restoring it. It's 90% done. Some of the things I have done so far: -New axle/springs/u-bolts, wheels/tires with hub brakes, and baby moon caps -Installed a 7 pin wiring harness with new junction box -Removed all the outside aluminum skins and replaced old wood before reinstalling them -Installed all new skirt boards that fasten the floor to the steel frame -3/4" foam sheet insulation throughout walls and ceiling -New interior wall panels in the back and front as needed -Cleaned the old butyl and putty residue off the aluminum skins, they are 100% ready for fresh putty -Sprayed exterior with white industrial paint (PPG Pithane Ultra, gloss urethane enamel). Stuff that needs to be done to finish the restoration: -Re putty windows and trim. Putty is included, I just haven't had time to do it yet. -Caulk around roof vent. It could use a refresh -The floor either needs a new piece of vinyl patched where I made a repair, or you could lay a new floor. A box of vinyl tiles is included -Rear window needs a new piece of glass. Included is specialty butyl window glazing tape for installing the new glass. It is titled & registered. Trailer lights are working. I had it weighed and the weight ticket is included. It weighed in at 1620 lbs. with gear inside. In Washington state you can register travel trailers under 2000 lbs. as "Intermittent use trailers" and pay a one time registration fee that is good for life. I've spent around 200 hours working on this trailer and it's almost across the finish line. I used to be a professional carpenter so all work was done accordingly. It would be great for someone interested in doing a little work toward...
