I have a John Deere 870 diesel the motor is knocking and loss of power so it would need to be either rebuilt replaced or if you are mechanic possibly could fix the problem now before the motor is totally seized it will start but it sounds like hell asking 1500 obo as it i also have another tractor to help load it on your trailer if you have no winch
