Isn’t she lovely? Vintage 1950s Era Signed Vincent Glinsky Carved Stone Madonna: Known as the Face of Love, this is a 1950s era mass produced statue by Vincent Glinsky. He was most known for his architectural sculpture in both Europe and the United States. This is what seems to be a mass produced sculpture that would have been available for purchase in department stores at the time. It is signed by him but it is not a “one off” sculpture and if it was, it would be more than the $65 price that I have for this beautiful 11” H sculpture. She does appear to be a Madonna and her features are all rather Art Deco appearing. There are minor chips throughout - many which have been carefully concealed - but there is one on the neck that is the most glaringly obvious. Most of these online are being priced at well over $200 + a minimum of $100 for shipping. This is a very fair and reasonable $65 and even though it was mass produced, it does have a very fine art aesthetic that would definitely look well in your ever expanding collection of art.
