Profile Design Fast Forward Carbon Seatpost and Specialized Alias 155 Carbon Saddle

Profile Design's "Fast Forward" seatpost is used to help get riders into a more aggressive position. Often paired with aero bars, the forward, more aerodynamic positioning provides noticeable speed improvements. When I was tampering with triathlon and didn't want to yet invest in a full triathlon bike, this seatpost along with the clip-on aero bars converted my road bike into a competitive tri machine. I noticed myself averaging 1-mile/hour faster with the same effort. Over the course of an Olympic distance triathlon, it's a significant payoff.
