It won’t warp, cup, swell, or rot… plus it’s naturally insect and termite resistant, and never requires painting ✅ 3/4” resin-infused moisture resistant flooring for a quiet, stiff floor. It won’t swell, warp, or buckle, and the manufacturer gives it a limited lifetime warranty. ✅ Full 2x6 floor joists, every 16” on center. We use 30 year ground contact rated lumber for your floor joists, and elevate them off the ground for airflow and moisture management to extend the life of the boards even further. Other builders use steel joists that feel bouncy under foot, and can eventually rust… and/or space their joists further apart to save money on materials (creating a floor system that isn’t as strong). ✅ Full 2x4 wall studs every 24” (or 16” if requested). Many builders use smaller/cheaper 2x3’s or even 1x1’s… but we believe in building strong walls so your shed lasts ✅ Insect-resistant (screened) gable vents. This allows rising heat to escape to keep your shed cooler in the summer months, and provides needed airflow so you don’t develop mold or moisture problems.
