Its shortened u-throat and a 1/2-length internal bootie create a snug, locked-in fit. I bought these from ebay brand new but they are to small for me. Worn for 10mns in perfect shape. I wear 13s easily and these are to small although they are designed to fit tight I do believe if you wear an 11 1/2 thru 13 you can wear these.
