2013 Volkswagen Jetta

Had this car for the last 7 years. Has its quirks and issues, but has been a great commuter car and has a lot of life left to give to its next owner. 143,500ish miles. Gets 38-40mpg. Been using it to haul our 2 year old son so the interior could use a good cleaning. Here are the issues as far as I know and an attempt at full disclosure. AC compressor only works about 1/2 of the time, so the AC doesn’t always work on those hot days. It has its electrical quirks. I lose a headlight bulb about 3 times a year. Paid Pep Boys to install new wiring harnesses and bulbs but a headlight still recently went out. Engine malfunction light is permanently on giving error codes for emission/exhaust related issues. This was due to soot build up in the exhaust, but I had it cleaned out by Motorworks Northwest. However, the light will always be on. It runs and drives great and performs regeneration cycles as it should. I have no reason to believe there is any issue with the exhaust anymore. Chips and dents as would be expected for a car that is 12 years old. Passenger side mirror is cracked. Windshield is cracked and has a couple rock chips. The car runs and drives great. I wouldn’t hesitate to take it on a long road trip if needed. Let me know if you have any questions or want to test drive it.
