Offered is a 1984 johnson 40 hp, 17"long shaft motor. I aquired this motor from my boat mechanic. I planned on using it on a mini boat project, but turns out the motor is to large. This is really a clean and well maintained motor as you can see in the photos. Has good.compression in both cylinders, clean plugs and fired right up when i hooked up fuel and power to rhe starter. It has a steel.prop on it and I also have another aluminum prop to go with it as well. The.previous owner started preping the engine cowl for painting so it bare without the johnson decals. THIS MOTOR IS WORTH $1500 all day long. But I need room in my garage so I am Asking $850 FIRM for a quick sale. If the listing is still up the motor is still available.
