Description

Rare 1994 Washburn WD-40-S Acoustic Guitar. Solid Cedar top, Rosewood back and sides, Rosewood fingerboard, Mahogany neck. 650mm scale length, 44mm nut. Satin open-pore finish, with a few very small scratches and some play wear by the pickguard. The frets have been leveled, crowned and polished, and the guitar has had a full setup with a bone nut, bone saddle, and unbleached bone bridge pins. ($200 value) The guitar plays and sounds great. It has a lush, warm sound that is a trait of the Cedar top. The back and sides are beautifully figured Rosewood. The 1994 Washburn Catalog lists these at $549.90 which if adjusted for inflation, is roughly $1,100 today. Asking $450, located near Gantzel and Combs in San Tan Valley.
