Since most aquariums alone are $50 or $80 delivered on ebay, this is the whole package. All you need except the bedding and animal. The glass aquarium is 24 x 12 and 16 inches deep. It has a metal screen cover as it was setup for a snake. It comes with a light fixture that has a BIO Bulb in it and the best part, a wrought iron stand with a shelf to hold all of your supplies. The stand is just over 29 inches tall so the top is 45 inches high. Great if you have younger kids as it is well out of their reach. You can also have the "rock" water dish, a large wood branch which is great for when they shed (you should have more) and as far as heat, you can buy a warming mat which costs half as much as this whole setup or what I used was a $7 clamp on light with the large metal reflector. You can put a timer on it or just run it now and then as it will warm up one side so the snake can regulate by moving where he wants. Be sure to put a "hide" on both ends, anything he can get under and they sell all sorts or use other items. The aquarium is cleaned but not sterilized, so if you want to use it for fish, you have to really clean it very well. No scratches, cracks and the bulb and light are good. YOU PICK UP
