I think. It was some time around then. The Kinetic feature seemed really cool to me. It will still, at least, move the second hand in two-second movements when it is kinetically wound. It doesn't seem to hold a charge anymore, though. The manual ({url removed} suggests that the IC would've only held the charge for four years - I've had it for at least 20 years. (Haven't worn it that long, but I've had it stored away in my watch case.) After following the manual's recommendations for "ENERGY DEPLETION FOREWARNING FUNCTION (pg. 12 of the manual)", it ticked at one second per tick for about 10 minutes, and then went back to two-seconds per tick; about an hour later, it's still doing the two-second per tick thing. The Case, Lugs, Crown, Bracelet, Hands, and Bezel are all stainless steel. Dial/Face is a beautiful, deep blue with an effect included that causes a slight symmetrical change in the shade of blue, depending on how it is tilted.
