Excellent condition 1967 Gibson ES-335TD in sunburst. All original, no breaks. This is a VERY clean example of a lovely sounding 1967 ES-335. Almost no play wear on the entire guitar, with any spots to note pictured. Factory bigsby. Original witch hat knobs. Trem arm is very responsive, and has a wonderful spongy feel when played. Original frets have some play wear, but opens up the option for a refret, or to play them as is, as they do still play great. No scratchy pots etc. Original tuners work well and stay in tune nicely. Original pickups are full and rich, while cleaning up as well as you would expect, with some particularly nice pick definition coming through with this example. Original sunburst finish has held very well for on the top and back. Original pickguard is in wonderful shape. Output jack and electronics have been tested to be working well. Original owner seems to have lost the pickup selector switch tip, as well as added a toggle on the top of the guitar. The toggle seems to be out of the circuit, as I have tested it and heard no difference to the signal. This is a wonderfully kept and very clean example of a great era of 335’s for Gibson. There is some very pleasing checking happening throughout this entire guitar as well. The sides have minimal play wear outside of the usual small nicks etc. Action is nice and low. Medium weight. Chunkier neck profile, especially up near the 12th fret. Comes with a non-original hard shell case as pictured. Willing to ship or drive a reasonable distance. Always open to offers!
