Description

A great piece of American Coal mining history. An 1970’s Zippo “Slim Windproof” lighter advertisement for “Ellen Kay” Logan & Kanawha Coal Co. of West Virginia. Logan having a very interesting history in early 1900’s West Virginia mining wars between miners and operators. This was the largest armed labor uprising in the US since the Civil War ( Battle Mountain) This lighter is in good used condition having surface scratching. The lid snaps back and the Flint wheel turns but has not been tested. Please see all photos as they are part of the description. Cash, cards (ex. American Express ) and PayPal accepted.
