It’s common name: Fishbone Calathea derives from the alternative pattern of stripes on its oval pastel green leaves. This Calathea Burle Marx also has an interactive nature due to the plant folding it’s leaves upward as evening approaches as if to say goodnight, only to fold them back down with morning light.
