Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), not Wi-Fi 6/6E. Its tri-band design uses one 2.4-GHz band and two 5-GHz radios. It also does not support 6 GHz. The two Gigabit Ethernet ports are a significant upgrade over Gen 1. Xfinity introduced the Gen 2 specifically as a faster, tri-band extender, with claimed speeds of 500+ Mbps versus the previous generation.
