Want the ease of putting your bikes on a rack like the hitch style without a hitch? I bought this specifically for that reason and it worked out great. No lifting bikes up to the roof rack and able to get it on and off fairly easily if you don't want to keep it on all the time. This hasn't been used a ton, but there are obvious signs of wear. All works perfectly and I have a key for the locking sections. So yes, it's very secure too! Only selling because I no longer have the car.
