PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION. Tascam / Teac 38 • 8 Multi Track 1/2" Pro Reel Tape Recorder with original rack, patch bay and patch cords. Condition is "Used". Just taken out of storage. Has not been used in over a decade. THIS UNIT HAS NOT BEEN SERVICED. Here is all I know and have tested on this unit. It powers on and everything lights up when engaged. I can get reels to spin. There is a hum when powered on. bad fan maybe? Everything appears to function but I am no expert on Reel to Reel machines and cannot guarantee full functionality without servicing. Front two caster wheels have broken off on the rolling rack and will need to be replaced. They got caught on the lip of the floor when rolling it out of storage.I have described this item to the best of my ability but please feel free to ask questions. Thanks for looking.
