Description
Nice antique treadle sewing machine. This is a Hygienic Standard Central Needle sewing machine in original quarter sawn oak cabinet. You will see lots of Singer sewing machines and White sewing machines, but you don't find a lot of Standard sewing machines. This one dates to the very early 1900s. Beautiful tiger oak cabinet. Working condition, although the belt is old and a little loose, but works. It has its original label inside drawer. Even comes with a small metal Standard box full of attachments( not pictured). Oak is in good shape for age. Great shape with curved drawers. Very nice antique treadle sewing machine. Measures about 32 1/2" X 17 1/2" deep X 30 1/2" tall (closed). Opens to about 45" long. Price is Firm.
