This is a Schwinn Hollywood woman’s bicycle made in Chicago in November of 1970. It’s an adult sized, girls frame, 26” wheel bike with a properly sized “sparkle” banana seat, sissy bar and handlebars to give it a sting ray look. It has the look and proportions of the one you had, or wished you had, when you were a kid but is sized just right for a grown up. Sting-Ray style bikes were never made for adults so I replicated what should have been. New tires, new tubes, new chain, new grips and new pedals. All moving mechanical parts have been disassembled, cleaned, lubed, reassembled and adjusted. Original Campus Green paint. Looks good, but shows lots of scratches and wear consistent with 50 years of use.
