Vintage AKAI GXC-730D Stereo Cassette Deck

condition: good  make / manufacturer: AKAI  model name / number: GXC-730D  Up for sale is a 1977 AKAI GXC-730D Auto reverse recording stereo cassette deck. This unit is the world's first auto reverse cassette deck. Rather than a 4-track 4-channel head, it has a unique 3-head system. With glass & x'tal ferrite head Unit needs a good interior cleaning, and the pots sprayed. I don't have time to mess with it, but if your a tape collector or aficionado, this is the deck you want. Referred to in audiophile circles as the "tank", this deck will not disappoint. This unit has a few light battle scratches at top of face of unit, which can be seen in photos. Wood on top on sides looks great. Unit lights up, and powers on upon plugging in.This unit is also for sale locally, so it will promptly be pulled from Craigslist upon sale.
