Here is a Peavey Forum AX in black sparkle. These are hard to come by. I've only seen a cream colored forum ax and a refinished regular forum (one pickup) in seafoam green and I bought them both. These are very well made and compare to top of the line American fenders but have better hardware and pickups.. Excellent basses with amazing sound. The internally active wide aperture VFL pickups are great. Very punchy with clear highs and tight low end. Very versatile. You can get it to sound all the way from jazz/p basses/stingrays to boutique basses. These are the same pickups found in the incredible top of the line peavey cirrus. It has a high mass ABM brass bridge, 2 band eq and nice rosewood fretboard. The forums are one of the best basses I've ever played. When you pick it up, you know you're holding a well crafted American instrument. The preamp has been disconnected so it's wired vol/vol/tone. It just needs a battery clip to power the pickups. I'm including 2 battery clips and 2 new 9v batteries. Unfortunately I have nerve damage in my left wrist so I've switched to short and sub shortscale basses. I need to sell this ASAP to buy a short scale I have my eye on before it sells.
