This posting is for a non-working 1947 Bendix model 626A AM/SW (6 tube) radio. The plastic case (12.5" x 8" x 8") was originally white but has faded over the years to a beige color. The case also has scratches all over that give it character, and a piece along the bottom of the back has broken off. It turns ON and the Bendix brand in the display lights up to a cool light green color. However, there is a constant humming sound, it doesn't tune to any stations, the volume knob doesn't work, and the tuning knob doesn't move the tuning vertical indicator across the display. This is a nice display piece of American history or restoration project. Note: Cash only and you pick up.
