A thicker gasket is more desirable in order to keep more electrolyte between the plates for a more efficient and cooler operating cell as well as less potential for leaks and a better dielectric property than the thin .060"(1/16") gaskets. The gaskets are cut to enhance the gas flow and to keep the plates submersed in the electrolyte for the most efficiency from the 316 stainless steel plates as possible. End plates for this cell are 1/2" clear acrylic. This is far superior and stronger than the standard 3/8" acrylic. This includes an assembled sealed quad-cell elyctrolyzer with 25-4"X5" 316L stainless steel plates. This is a professional cell and is for the expert experimenter. What you do with this is up to you. However...Keep in mind if you install this in a vehicle you should use a 30 amp Relay and a MAP/MAF sensor enhancer.
