Description

Overhauled to new condition with great patina intact. New: leather seat, cables, chain, tires, leather grips, insulated canvas bag, insulated leather cold beverage holder. Completely overhauled by my hands and elbow grease. Original Sturmey-Archer wheelset (true & tensioned), ratcheting brake levers, Huret derailleurs, and shift levers. No dents at all, and only 45 years of gentle paint wear and chips. Original stickers are available online if you desire to push it to the top, but it's tight, solid, looks and smells like a new transportation machine. You won't find a better example of this vintage classic. It's a larger frame (60cm/23.5"), and I'd recommend it for someone who appreciates it and is at least 5'9" tall. This is a perfect town bike, grocery getter, and weekend cruiser. I'm not in a hurry to let this go, but I'm proud of how it turned out and excited to offer it up.
