Description

This type of desk was used in the 19th century by ship captains. It is a used reproduction and is in very good condition. All drawers shown are functional and have a smooth pull. The wood is mahogany and with a nice sheen. It is solid hardwood construction and appears to be hand carved. The bun fee and ornate scrollwork that supports a hinged lifting desktop. There are eight interior drawers, eight side drawers and a top compartment for writing instruments. It is a beautiful compact piece. Overall, the desk is 33" h, 21" w, and 20" deep.
