Very rare Gentleman’s Chest with key for working lock. Double door, 6 drawer, 2 upper small drawers (for jewelry or lingerie, or socks, etc.) Sits on 4 original working casters. I took lots of pictures with measurements The over all measurements are, 45” inches to the first top surface and 51” to the second top surface by 38 1/2” wide by 21” deep. It’s pretty big. Behind the doors are 6 drawers all 30 1/2” wide and 18” deep The first two drawers are 4” tall The bottom 4 drawers are 6” tall Came with no knobs so I put the blacks on it, It has new drawer wooden linings. The inside, sides of the drawers were painted with Kilz primer for reasons unknown. It does have some scratches and I did not try to resurface any of it because sanding and restaining it would take away from its value and originality.
