Vintage Gold Plated Wire Collapsible Egg Basket by Erdecor France

Excellent Pre-Owned Vintage Condition. No Holds. Made in France sometime in the 1950’s, this charming vintage collapsible egg basket by Erdecor France is in awesome condition. It is gold plated, opens and closes to accommodate as many eggs as you like, and would make a great addition to a farmhouse collection of vintage egg baskets. This one does not have a tag but I’ve attached a photo of what the tag looks like and what it states: "Article garanti recouvert à l'or fin" - covered with fine gold "Marque déposée ERDECOR Made in France Production Escaut" This belonged to my step-dad who had a penchant for collecting unusual items. It’s 10” high with handles up x 7½” diameter at its widest point x 5½” diameter at the base x 17” wide when the handles are opened up (see photos). It is gold plated and weighs 9 oz. Yield, about 20 eggs. Thanks for looking!
