For Sale/Trade: 1993 Honda CBR 900rr I’ve decided that its time for me to part ways with my CBR. I purchased it in 2020 and since then have put less than 600 miles on it. The bike fires right up, runs and rides very well. My only reason for selling is that my priorities have changed. The engine is the stock 893cc mill w/39,XXX miles on it. The exhaust is comprised of Erion Racing (4 into 1) header and period correct Two Brothers Racing carbon fiber muffler. The carbs were ultrasonically cleaned and rebuilt using oem Honda parts. The valves were adjusted w/oem shims shortly after I purchased it as well. Both front and rear sprockets were replaced w/ 15/23 respectively. Additional modifications are as follows: • Barnett Kevlar clutch/springs • FactoryPro Jet and air-box modification • FactoryPro 4-degree ignition advancer • FactoryPro shift kit. The bodywork is all oem plastics w/the exception of the windshield. There are scrapes/scratches from the previous owner(s), and one broken tab on the tail section where the lock is. Many of the missing or warn bolts, rubber mounts and or other misc. pieces w/oem Honda parts. The gas tank is perfectly clean on the inside w/not even a hint of rust. Externally, the tank has one small dent. There were a few spots in the paint that I began to refinish but haven’t been able to get back to and that effort will need to be completed. I have the stock paint colors. The tires were replaced prior to my purchasing it, and still have the rubber “nipples” on them. The battery was replaced with a new lithium-ion replacement at the end of last year. The brakes are soft, but still ridable and my intentions were to replace the brake pads, fluid reservoirs and fluid this spring, but haven’t found the time yet. I have most of the parts, so I may still change them. I have many extra parts, but too many to list. They are mainly used spares that I purchased as replacements. I will also include a complete but used 919cc engine from a running 1996 Erion edition 900rr, but it has been sitting since I bought it. The following items will be available to the potential buyer but are not offered for sale until the bike has sold. • A used, but complete (may need a bolt or 2) Mr. Turbo kit w/install and tuning instructions that was designed for the 93-96 900rr. The header does have a couple of pin holes that could easily be welded. • A set of used, but rebuilt Keihin 39mm flat slide carbs w/new throttle cables. • A set of used Two Brothers Racing (TB#1/TB#2 made by Crane) camshafts w/cam cards. • A new Dyna Tek, Dyn2000 (DDK1-9) digital performance ignition w/install instructions and extra. Southeast Local Michigan sale only (unless you’re traveling to my location) and unfortunately, no test rides unless I have cash in hand. With that said, I’d like to get $7000 for the bike, extra motor and extra oem parts, but will consider reasonable cash offers. I will also consider the following trades plus cash depending on the trade value. • 60” commercial zero-turn mower (Dixon, Dixie, Exmark, etc,.) • 500cc or larger 4x4 UTV or ATV w/snowplow • Double axle landscape or enclosed trailer • A mower or ATV and trailer combo
