Likely dating from the 1940s or 1950s. Pink with flowers and brown borders. Two small pockets at the top. Often handmade by hostesses to wear over their dresses. Designed to be decorative rather than purely utilitarian. The hemline and pockets are constructed from squares of fabric laid on a diagonal, a common design feature that gives it the "handkerchief" name. 44" from end-to-end of ribbon tie top of apron is 11" wide 17" from top to bottom
