Description

Here is 3 very pretty hand-painted porcelain Japanese pin dishes. They measure 5 inches in diameter and have a scene of two egrets wading in a river by a tree, with flowers in the foreground and a bridge and gazebo type building in the background. The rims are trimmed in maroon. The porcelain is translucent and imperfect due to the manufacturing processes of the time. There are little bumps and pock marks that occurred during manufacturing. The plates are marked JAPAN on the back, a mark used between 1921 and 1941. CONDITION: For being roughly 100 years old, these little dishes are in very good condition. One dish has a couple of spots where the paint around the rim is rubbed off, but other than that, no issues.
