Stunning Charak Dining Table 1950s

Charak Furniture was one of the premier makers of high-end furniture in the United States during the 1930s. Manufactured in Boston, Charak pieces were wonderfully crafted with solid mahogany and fabulous veneers. The works of true artisans, Charak Furniture is very desirable among collectors and furniture connoisseurs. This particular Charak table is an amazing piece as it boasts 2 leaves that remove for storage and to form a small dining table that is able to fit into even the smallest places Comes with the label showing a manufacture date of 1952. Adding in the two leaves and this beauty quickly transitions into a full-sized dining table offering great looks, stability, and comfort. The carved pedestal base symmetrically supports the tabletop, allowing for up to eight chairs to surround the table The table measures 47" long by 40" wide and 29” High. With one leaf it is 63" long and with 2 leaves it is 78" long. I’m considering this “like new” despite the age of 70+ years as it had protective covers and tablecloths over it. The finish is immaculate and the leaf mechanism smooth. Will add in the four chairs shown, two of which are Henredon.
