Description

This is a Laguna Electric Guitar that has been modified by a local Albuquerque luthier/guitar tech to simulate an electric banjo or banjitar. Here is a link to a YouTube video explaining the guitar conversion process: {url removed} And Here is a video of the finished product: {url removed} Please note this is a different guitar than the one in the YouTube videos but they were made using the same method and sound very similar. This guitar is a used Laguna model LE122. It has a little scratch on right side of the body which is shown in the pictures. Besides the scratch the guitar is in very good condition. I removed the volume and tone knobs because I found banjo style finger picking is much more comfortable to play without the knobs in the way but i will include them with the guitar in case whoever buys it would like to reattach them. I modified it as a cheaper alternative to recording Electric banjo tones however it is still fully functional as an electric guitar as well it would just have to be restrung in the normal way.
