Antique pair of framed hand-colored engravings by Richard Blome, from his work The Gentleman's Recreation, originally published in the late 17th century. The prints depict hunting scenes, specifically "The End of ye Chase of ye Stagg" (left) and "Hunting ye Hare" (right). Each engraving features a dedication and a coat of arms in the lower margin. Richard Blome (1(contact info removed)) was a prominent publisher of illustrated books in London during the 17th and 18th centuries. See measurements. Porch pickup. (GAR).
