Description

5’6” Stamps Bento Box surfboard in good used condition. Fun small wave board for typical OC waves. This was Tim’s personal board and has typical heel dent on the deck and some very shallow dime sized dents on the bottom. Rails and fin boxes are in excellent condition. No prior dings or repairs needed. Board is really fun, just have too many small wave boards in the rotation. Futures quad boxes (no fins). 5’6” x 21” x 2 1/2” (33L) Here’s what Tim has to say about this model: “ The Bento Box was designed during a trip to Japan that had some pretty small, but fun waves. As we traveled up, and down the coast, I kept thinking about a sleeker WTF type of shape, with lots of paddle and glide; with a refined rail to keep it really responsive off the tail. Featuring elements from the WTF and the Twin Keel Fish (TKF) models, with features that make it its own creature. A blend of the outline and rocker line of the WTF, with the deck profile of the TKF is where the model started. It has a low 'fish' type rocker, with a flatter deck profile and lower angular rails. The rail tapers out through the fin area and out through the tail block for a responsive tail section that is easy to set on edge. Flat under the nose, running into a slight single concave through the center with vee out the tail. Set in the fin area is a slight double concave. The foil is fuller through nose and center, blending into a thinner tail section. Out the tail is a short 'slot channel' to give a little relief with the lower rocker and add some extra bite with the quad set up. The outline is full with a blunt rounded nose and a wing (right about where the back foot should be during a turn) squash tail to loosen it up, reduce surface area, and give a 'pivot' point.” Surf, shortboard, board, Fcs, thruster, twin fin
