This is a breathtaking 19th century Irish pine armoire: massive, beautifully crafted, and full of soul. It has three large drawers at the bottom, a mirrored center door, original hardware, and a warm, golden patina that only a century of life can create. It was originally purchased from a woman in Columbus, Ohio, about seven years ago. She bought it in the 1960s from an antique store in Chicago. It was made in Ireland. It’s easily my favorite piece of furniture. It's disassembled because we just moved. If I wanted to estimate I'd say it's about 6'5" tall and maybe 5'8" wide? I bought it disassembled and it's easy to assemble. I have assembled it in two different homes and it's pretty intuitive. I can show you how. I truly don’t want to sell it, but I need emergency dental work and we’ve just moved into an 790 sq. ft. house where there simply isn’t space. It’s in excellent condition for its age, sturdy and structurally sound, with wear and imperfections appropriate to something this old and beautiful. It has a lovely peach tassel on the right door, which I purchased new. This piece commands presence in any room: perfect for antique lovers, cottage interiors, bohemian homes, or anyone who wants functional storage with real history.
