IKEA "Gerton" Wooden Tabletop w/4 White Legs

This tabletop is a beloved classic that has been discontinued by IKEA, making it a sought-after gem in the second-hand market. It is made of solid beech. Very sturdy, durable and also happens to be my personal, absolute favorite. Comes with four white "Adils" legs which are still available at IKEA ($7.50/ea as of July 2025). So much potential for variety of projects including work desk and home office, some of which can be found online as inspo. The surface is coated with IKEA's designated wood treatment oil "Stockaryd" for rich and smooth finish. Making it not just nice to touch, but also resistant to water marks, scuffs and smudges. It's only treated on the top surface, sides and the surrounding areas of underside which is why it appears different in tone in the fourth picture. The tabletop measures 155cm x 75cm, making it quite large, so it felt unnecessary to treat the entire underside and to cover even the areas out of reach for either eyes or hands. The Stockaryd oil is not included in this bundle deal but still available at IKEA ($14.99 as of July 2025) if desired to treat the remaining area.
