Then finally 2 coats of Polyurethane, again lightly sanding between each coat. The primer allows interior paint to adhere better but this particular, more expensive brand, applies a layer of protection against infestation, mildew, stains and more. Lightly sanding the paint through whole process give a smooth professional finish to the hand painted piece. The 2 coats of Poly will seal and protect the paint against spills and stains making the piece easily cleanable. Then brand new hardware, handles, hinges & pulls are put on. All of our restored furniture is upgraded with electric and USB, so you can easily plug in lights, alarm clocks as well as charge your electronic devices without having to reach behind. We use recycled mistint paint headed when possible and also work on furniture headed to landfill or donated needing a new home, we restore it to New condition giving it life again -SECOND LIFE FURNITURE.
