These are the real deal, PNV-57e night vision binoculars straight from Afghanistan brought over by a Major I worked with. They are currently set up to run off a 12v car plug but can easily be set up to run off a 12v battery. Attach a helmet mounted bracket and you have a hands free setup. I have used these in a moonless night and saw every that would allow me to navigate around without any issue. Stop by in the evening and I will give you a night view through them if you want. $300, these are military grade all metal tough as nails not plastic consumer grade binoculars.
