Gorgeous American Black WALNUT Drop Leaf Table designed by Edward Wormley for Dunbar. c1960. The sides of this phenomenal table drop down with the use of gate style legs for easy storage or use as a slim console table that can brought out during special occasions if permanent dining table is not desired. The oval top is 6 feet by 5 feet. 18.5 inches CLOSED! Perfect for a smaller space It is in beautiful original condition. One leaf looks to have spent more time hiding from the sun so it shows slightly darker as you can see in the photos. When the additional 4 tapered gate legs swing out to support the drop leaves you end up a total of 8 legs which is far more stable than hinges or boards holding up the sides. It’s only 18 1/4 inches deep when fully closed.
