Highly rated trail bike, 4 stroke 250cc engine with electric start, and a hard to find California Green Sticker legal off road registration, have pink slip in hand, I am second owner. Many high quality upgrades invested in and installed to include FMF Quiet exhaust muffler with US Forest Service approved spark arrestor, carb rejetted, NoToil foam air filter for superior engine protection from trial dust, with K&N crankcase filter, hi-performance stainless steel reusable micron oil filter, Barnett Kevlar clutch plates and Barnett hi-performance clutch spring for better feel (stock was not worn and have as a spare), Iridium spark plug and only used Red Line Motorcycle 100% synthetic oil (first owner used also, a riding friend). Renthal bar and mounts, upgraded brake and clutch levers, Galfer all weather brake pads, Race Tech rear spring and front fork springs kit make trail riding better with improved balance from front to rear. One Industries gripper seat professionally installed (stock is in good shape as spare), Acerbis handlebar hand guards, CTEK battery monitor and charge port next to mile meter (see photos) , new Dunlop 756 rear tire in 110/100-18 size for optimum grip. Engine is tight, strong compression with low miles, and runs clean with no leaks, gearbox shifts well, brakes are responsive and powerful. This is one tough machine with a reputation for high reliability that is easy to ride, a great beginner bike or occasional trail rider. You can put on blinkers /turn signals and make street legal. Has more power than the TTR225 and weighs 10 lbs less! Part availability is good though Yamaha dealer. Maintained by professional motorcycle mechanic and I bought this dirt bike for my son to ride as a second dirt bike but no longer has the time to ride, so that is the only reason the bike is being sold. Less than 150 miles on it! Wheels are straight and true, spokes tight . Chain and sprockets are good with no wear. Front fork oil and seals changed with Yamaha seals recently so no leaking. Headlight and taillight work, as do all switches. Some scratches from tree branches but all original bodywork. Factory service manual and tuning binder come with motorcycle. This bike pulls hard, stops strong and shifts smooth, with a stable suspension and easy start with a push of a button!
