Antique Vintage Satin Grosgrain Travel Slippers With Zip Carrying Case

This is a rare pair of antique vintage striped satin grosgrain travel slippers in light brown and dark brown, fully lined and with a matching zippered carrying case. I would guess they were made in the 1920s, 30s, possibly 40s? They feature a soft, brown leather sole that measures approximately 10 inches from heel to toe and 3 1/8 inches at its widest point. I think they would fit a women’s size 8/9 or a men’s size 6/7 . They are in very good condition, considering their age, with no holes or tears, but some folding from being stored in the case. These slippers could still be worn with care, they are in such good condition . The case itself is fully lined, and exhibits some very faint sign of watermark which could easily be restored by cleaning. The zipper is a good quality metal zipper that works perfectly. They we’re owned by a distant aunt or uncle who were both born in the first years of the 1900s and since the zipper was not invented until 1917, they couldn’t be any older than that. $500 obo
