This chair and ottoman are made of brown leather with a very slight reddish tone, and brown teak with golden undertones. There’s beautiful stitching and nail heads, along with attractive, elegant curves. Lie back in the chair, put your feet up on the ottoman, and you’ll feel like you’re in a wonderfully comfortable recliner (although admittedly it doesn’t change positions). The chair is 37”H x 25”W x 40”D, while the ottoman is 15”H x 25”W x 22”D (all measurements have been rounded up to the next whole inch). The furniture is approximately eight years old, but it’s been in a rarely used guest room the whole time, so it’s in very good shape. There are no tears or dents; there is a scratch on the side (please see the attached photo), but I’ll touch it up prior to sale. This is the Augusto chair in brown sold online by Grandin Road. The chair alone normally sells for $999, but it’s currently on sale for $749. The matching ottoman is no longer available. You can get a very similar Litton Lane chair and ottoman from Home Depot online for $1005. We’re selling this beautiful chair and ottoman at half price for $499. Since we won’t be shipping them (you’ll need to come to Portsmouth, Rhode Island to pick them up) we’ll subtract another $50, bringing the final price to $449. This furniture is well-constructed with fine materials, and it’s extremely handsome. In the right space, it won’t just be highly functional, it’ll be a real conversation piece!
