1979 Mazda RX-7 · Coupe · Driven 89,675 miles 🚗 FS/FT – 1979 Mazda RX-7 SA22C – Project – $2,750 📍 Located in San Diego, CA | Clean Title Looking to sell all original ’79 RX-7 — great platform for a vintage rotary build, restoration, or period-correct restomod. Can send video of engine running. Specs: • 12A rotary (original, complete with air cleaner & emissions) • 5-speed manual • Straight body, never drifted or tracked • Complete interior (dash cracked, seats worn, carpet decent) • All handles/trim present, just some cosmetic bits missing The Not-So-Good: • Vacuum line routing is off (previous mechanic messed with it) • Smokes on cold start — probably oil control or carb tuning • Needs a battery • Some rust on hood — surface, not structural • Needs general tuning + TLC It starts pretty easily but isn’t road-ready. Will need to be trailered. Just not in a place to give it the time it deserves
