So I waited about a whole year to give Boss Auto a review. I bought a 2011 Hyundai Genesis R-Spec around September 2022. They sold me a great car. Amazing weekend car to drive.  Had a little bit issues but nothing major I couldn’t fix myself. It was a quick experience and honest sell. I give them 4/5 stars. Only one problem I had is they were not  negotiable with their prices. But overall a great dealership.

We flew from Maine to VA hoping to find a decent used car for our son.   With a limited budget, but needing something reliable that would make the drive back to Maine we scoured the Norfolk area.   We were disappointed in the high miles, dents and overall sun damaged autos until we found Boss Auto.  We were able to get a 2011 BMW 328i with only 75k miles on it!  The car was meticulously detailed.   It even came with a limited warranty, something we hadn't found on others.   After a short test drive a check engine light came on.   Within a half hour, they had put it on the scan tool, diagnosed the issue, ordered the parts and had them replaced.   It was two possible parts, but to be safe they replaced both of them.   The whole interaction was pleasant and quick.   We drove back to Maine with no issues.  I couldn't be happier with the price, the quality of the car, and the service.

Would recommend this dealership to all my friends!! Got really nice car for below market price. Was driving it every day for a few months now with no issues at all. Sales persons were very friendly and helpful with all my questions.

Bought a car. Within a week, the AC jus completely died. Boss Auto said they had no way to charge it and couldn't help us, plain and simple. The AC *absolutely* blew nice, cold air when we bought it.
A few months further in, we get a flat. It happens...  Except not like this. Both front tires are completely down to threads on the inner third of the tires...  As in, where you can't see it unless you drop down to specifically look under the car. So either the cambers are bad or the alignment is terrible, neither of which we should be fixing right after purchasing.
Now we're wondering what else they missed or covered up and how much more we're going to have to pour into a car we spent good money on.
Update: once we had it in the shop, discovered so much more. The oil cooler seal failed so we were just blowing oil everywhere. We're also replacing the direct injection high pressure fuel pump, which supposedly never fails on these cars, let alone at our mileage. There is also accident damage that was not in the CarFax report that is now obvious. The rear passenger body panel is gapping more more like it was previously forced into place...  All of this on a car that was supposedly inspected and fine, with no accidents reported?  I'd say inspected and given band aids to get it off the lot at a SIGNIFICANTLY marked up price.  We've put over 4k into a 10k car and our daily commute is less than 10 miles. I highly doubt none of these things were discovered and that they all just happened to occur within a few months of ownership, especially when our other car has over 100K on it without issue. Never again, and there's no amount of "you never know" that will excuse this absolute lemon.

If I could give zero stars I would. They sold me a lemon. They knew there was something wrong with the transmission. I TOLD THEM THERE WAS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE TRANSMISSION. The guy test drove it and the transmission jumped after being stopped at several stoplights. He tried to say it was too much transmission fluid. Yea ok. Guess that’s why a month later I was replacing the transmission for over $1000 somewhere else. Because this place didn’t want to honor their 30 day warranty. The car continued to have so many problems. The starter failed. The transmission leaked fluids. I spent $5k to buy the car and $5k in repairs. Now my house is in foreclosure because all of my money went to repairing the pos this place sold me. Do not trust these people. They will lie straight to your face and sell you a car that will RUIN you financially and put your family in so much debt. I am at risk of becoming homeless because these people saw I was a woman and got over on me based on the fact that I do not have much knowledge when it comes to cars. But I DEFINITELY told them the transmission was bad within 30 days and they refused to honor their warranty.
