For Sale - Babe FiberStarter single treadle spinning wheel. Asking $100. Single treadle Fiber Starter wheel for sale. I have had this wheel for many years and used it rarely. I never did get into spinning, so I can’t speak to whether this wheel is great or not. It is squeaky, but I did not try to oil the points of contact. I also found that the treadle connection point sometimes loosened unexpectedly, but I am certain it is from user error. I replaced the drive band years ago, and it has been stored loose (eg not under tension) for years now, but I am unsure whether the band might need to be replaced anew. Five extra bobbins. I am not sure if I have an owner’s manual - I am still looking for it. I acquired this used.
